Server and Software revisited
« on: December 27, 2008, 03:35:46 PM »
Ok

Ok, there is some missing data.  The software switch lost some (a few ) attachments & the lag between moving servers and shit might of lost a week's worth also.

I've done another data export/import and manage to get most the attachments this time.

If posts or other database information is lost, i'm sorry.   What can be recovered has been.

Aca, i went and looked for that battle & user - it just don't exist in the data I have. (new or old).

In your profiles - under "look and feel" is a quick-reply option.

Report any errors and we'll fix them

also want to have a moderator roll call and make a few.

jamroom will be back and updated shortly

Going to try to setup a "portal" system for the site.

i'll be all finished today, but it may be odd to navigate while i hack it live...

The whole second half of this battle.

it's probably 6 more verses back and forth.

it might not seem like much to you.

but they were a lot to me, i should of backed them up.

Yeah

Vbulletin had my account suspended and getting it reinstated they had to delete our data & files.  Or fork over 150+ bucks a year.

so i had to go back to the old servers slightly old data and import into this.

alright - a recap here..

i was running a pirated copy of vbulletin forum software.  I switched hosts and they shut us down.  i migrated over to this software.  I then bought a multi forum hosting script running on another domain i own called forumshq.com.

I migrated us over to that @ freestyle.forumshq.com but it never EVER was posted in.   I recently reverted back to an old backup and here we are now.

I thought I could use the domain forumshq.com and host multiple forums and allow others to create there own.  I was wrong.  All I got was spam boards and a nightmare.

well,   i'm glad to see a few of the old users back and we'll see if we can pickup where we left off.
